So common to man, the enchanted fades away and lies buried underneathlayers of banality and manipulated perception--our various realities and levels of existence:diverse heights of understanding, acceptance, and desperate planes of emptiness (i.e., poverty, ignorance and disease).

Hopeful Signpost

This came to me yesterday while at a chapel--praying. I'm so thankful for these words. My world is a bit dark right now. I'll spare my audience the details, but suffice it to say I'm experiencing a level of emptiness few walk away from unscathed:

 

You're coming out of people-pleasing, codependency and severe mental illness. Be patient with yourself, be patient with me.

 

At the time, I was praying about a grave subject matter and when I spoke these words (almost out of the blue), I sounded happier as if I had a smile on my face. Perhaps it was my Higher Self pointing the way towards freedom and liberation. Only time will tell. For the time being, I'll cling to these words for dear life. Hope... This signpost gives me hope in a brighter tomorrow.

This is my first attempt to mix... something or other. I don't know what to call it honestly. Totally new to this, but I felt the urge to be creative. This is the 14th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina--what happened in New Orleans at the end of August and the beginning of September 2005. All those beautiful souls perished or were displaced--became homeless--almost overnight... In their honor, I created these MP3s using VirtualDJ, Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate and seven, short MP3 files. YouTube sources are as follows:

Dj Software - VirtualDJ

VirtualDJ 2018 is a great program and it's free for home use. I've been using it on my Mac the past few hours; it's wonderful! Here's a pic:
